FIRST Robotics

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics was founded in 1992 by Dean Kamen. Its mission is to inspire students to consider the fields of technology and robotics, and since its founding, it has spread to encompass over 130,000 students worldwide.

FIRST is not about learning robotics alone; it is about learning about life and gracious professionalism. FIRST is about learning to succeed yourself, and aiding those around you to succeed as well. To learn more about FIRST, visit usfirst.org.
